From your hotel in Hurghada
2 Days
A King Egypt Tours representative will take you from your hotel to Hurghada/Gouna in a private, air-conditioned, modern vehicle for a flight to Cairo. Our Egyptologist guide will then take you to discover the pyramids of Cheops/Chephren/Mykerinus and the Great Sphinx. The Great Sphinx is the pharaoh’s head with a lion’s body, dating back to Chephren’s time. You will also visit the Valley Temple, part of the pyramid of Chephren, and have lunch in a local restaurant. Next, you will visit the Step pyramids of Zoser. This is the world’s oldest major stone structure, built around 2630 BC for King Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty.
Then transfer to your hotel in Cairo and Overnight.
Start your day with breakfast at your hotel and then take a tour of the Egyptian Museum, which is full of artifacts from the pharaonic era. It’s home to the world’s largest collection of 5000-year-old art, with over 250,000 real artifacts. Plus, there’s an exhibit devoted to the treasures, gold, and jewelry from Tutankhamun’s tomb, which were hidden away for over 3500 years before they were discovered. After that, you’ll have lunch at a local spot in Cairo, then head to the Salah el Din Citadel and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, which was built by a Turkish architect from Istanbul to honor the ruler who ruled Egypt for 45 years. Finally, you’ll be transferred to the famous Khan el Khalil Bazaar, and then fly back to Cairo Airport.
