Our Abu Simbel Day Tour from Aswan starts at 3:00 am with our expert Tour guide, King Egypt Tours expert, who will pick you up at your hotel in Cairo from 3:00 am and take you to Cairo airport where you will take your flight to Aswan from 5:00 am until 6:30 am. Our guide will meet you at the airport, where you will be met by a sign showing your name. Then, you will be transferred to the southern part of Aswan, which is about 3hrs drive by private air-conditioned car. The two temples of Abu Simbel are considered the masterpiece of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and magnificence of the new Kingdom, and were saved from the flood by the Egyptian government and UNESCO.
Ramses II Temple is dedicated to the 4 Universal Gods Ptah, Re-Her – Akhter, Amun – Re, and Ramesses 2 himself. The large Abu Simbel Temple is also known as the Sun Temple of Rames II. The Temple of Qutbari is also known as Temple Of Hathor, who was the Sun God’s wife. Thus, the two temples, Rames II Temple and Qutbari Temple, symbolize the unity of Rames II, Qutbari and Hathor, as well as the Sun God. You will spend around 3 hours at the temple. From the temple, you will take the bus to Aswan Airport, where you will board your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will meet & assist our local representative and be transferred to your hotel.
