BLACK AND WHITE DESERT

At 6:30 AM, you’ll be picked up from your Cairo hotel by a sign with your name at the lobby. Your driver will then take you to Bahariaya Oasis, which is about 350 km southwest of Cairo. The journey will take around 4 hours, and when you get there, you’ll switch your car to a 4×4 and drive through the desert. Start your day with lunch, then visit Al-Marsous Mount, one of the most famous mountains in the Black Desert. It’s a volcanic crater covered in jasper, and you can also check out the Cold Sulphur Water Well and Crystal Mountain in Agabat, which is a rare mountain with over 12 types of crystal. After that, you’ll be able to surf the giant sand dunes near Siwa, which are considered the best place to surf in the world. The dunes reach up to 140 metres in height, making it the perfect spot for dune surfing.

Continuing your journey, you will arrive at the White Desert, the most renowned desert region in Egypt, and for good reason. This area is renowned for its abundance of wind-cut rock formations, which are sculpted in the shapes of mushrooms, chickens, rabbits, and pebbles. This is unparalleled in any other desert on Earth. Once you have completed your exploration, you will be transported back to the Al Haiz campsite for an overnight stay (sleeping in a tent).
